These bourbon arabica beans, shade grown in the highlands surrounding Lake Kivu, yield a beautiful, clean and flavorful cup with notes of caramel and black cherry.
In the rich volcanic soils that line the shores of Lake Kivu grow one of the world's most exclusive coffee beans, the Rwandan Red Bourbon Arabica. Kivu noir is rated amongst the top 1% of the world's highest quality single estate coffees, for its quintessential richness of flavor, freshness and smooth texture.
Our coffee primary coffee is a special blend of bourbon arabica beans, shade grown in the highlands surrounding Lake Kivu, yield a beautiful, clean and flavorful cup with notes of caramel and black cherry.
KODUKAK is located in Kigeyo Sector in the Rutsiro District of Rwanda in the highlands surrounding Lake Kivu. Originally, 257 coffee farmers joined together in 2006 to improve the quality of Kigeyo’s coffee. Now with 990 farmer members, one third of them women, KODUKAK became a registered cooperative in 2015. KODUKAK is a member of the larger COOPAC umbrella cooperative that provides agroforestry education to all its members and provides ongoing assistance to fair trade community-based initiatives that have enabled construction of schools, health care clinics, roads, bridges and youth development programs.
Our other favorite coffee we serve is our house blend of medium to light roast beans comes from Nicaragua, Peru, Ethiopia Yirgacheffe, and Sumatra. Roasted here in Austin Texas, sweet and full-bodied, a shot from this incredible blend offers a plethora of deep tobacco aromatics and flavors of caramel and baking chocolate that linger on the palate. A slightly darker roast gives this coffee its distinctive body and part of what makes our Latte’s so good!

All hemp is Cannabis sativa, there is no “indica hemp,” though some hemp strains have hybrid genetics that ties to strains of marijuana which are indica [2]. They have long been used in aromatherapy which is why it is sometimes said that they have effects that are "calming," "energizing," or other vague subjective verbiage.
